I couldn't get them to attach to the last post. Sometimes blogger hates me.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, there is a rapture on the lonely shore, there is society, where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more

Hey Erin,
A couple things.
First: the pictures of your nameplate and business card made me cry out loud. How awesome! Yes!
Second: good anecdote about Mexico. You're an insightful person, and I imagine you'll be having more experiences with immigrants in Arizona. Learning any Spanish? In my opinion, Mexicans (and most Latin Americans) can be incredibly warm and friendly. Embrace them! (But watch out for some of the men, like those vendors you mentioned...)
Third: I chuckled at your NorthFace reference 'cause I'm the same way (except with REI and Columbia) It's so easy to get so caught up in that crap. I've enjoyed being in Spain, where I don't recognize any brands and don't hesitate to buy a $10 fleece.
