Shout Out of the Day:Mom and Dad
Today's shout out goes to my mom and dad. It feels great to have parents that are so supportive of me and who love me enough to worry about me. Every day that I talk to my dad he says "Erin, did you get any pepper spray yet?" because he doesn't like the idea of me running and hiking alone. He said he will ask every day until I buy some! And my dad has even put the weather for my little town on his website so he always knows what's happening where I live. My mom sent me a package full of things that I forgot at home and goodies like Cadbury eggs and Girl Scout cookies. I even found a Pioneer, the paper from Big Rapids, in my package. I am very blessed to have parents who encourage me to follow my dreams and who make sacrifices that have allowed me to get started with my adult life and career. So thank you Mom and Dad, I love you very much and miss you every day.

So...
Everything is going okay here, and we miss you. How is the car holding up? Julie, Jason, Lucas, and your Mom went to dinner with me on Saturday in celebration of their 6 month aniversary at Applebee's. It was fun, and Lucas was his usual cheery self. I keep wondering how they have a 5 month old bay when they have only been married for 6 months. I am unsure, but he may be the only baby that ever survived being born 8 months premature.I'll have to look that one up? Did you get the pepper spray?
Erin.
You rock. And parents rock, too. I'm in Valencia with my mom and it's great.
I'll get back to you re: hiking. Muchisimas gracias for the invite. I'm definitely interested - really excited, as a matter of fact - but now it comes down to getting days off work. Don't know if I told you - I'm working at home this summer at the YMCA Teen Center, essentially doing employee rec. stuff but for local teens. We'll talk more and I'll keep you posted.
Have a good rest-of-the-week!!
